Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara

Spain
Zindagi Naa Milegi Dobaara made us need to make an excursion to Spain that won't occur yet one can generally trust. The clever trio went to places like Costa Brava, Seville, Barcelona, and Pamplona.

Costa Brava – (Enter Katrina Kaif)

The most famous beach destination, about 90 minutes from Barcelona, where Kabir, Imran and Arjun, meet the scuba instructor Laila

Travel Tips -

  • Costa Brava can be visited as a day trip from Barcelona. The trip usually covers the Girona region as well. One can even look for a one night stay here for the lovely nightlife that the region offers.
  • One can even take boat trips into the sea or take up some water sports.
  • Driving to the region is indeed one of the most beautiful journeys.

Fun Fact – The scene was shot on one of the nudist beaches in the area. The makers had to request the bathers to stay away from the camera!

Buñol - la Tomatina (August every year)
Remember that tomato fight in the whole street? An event with only 3 rules – a) you’re supposed to squash the tomatoes before hitting anyone; b) give way to the tomato trucks; c) have fun!

Indeed, that was Bunol for you.

Travel Tips –
  • The small town is almost 400 kms by road from Barcelona – in the Valencia region.
  • We recommend that Valencia be made the base for your stay.
  • There are regular buses available in Valencia for the festival.
Seville – Skydiving and “Senorita”
One of the best skydiving experiences in Spain can be found in Seville. The city is in Andalucia Region – south of Spain.

Travel Tips –
  • Fly to Seville from Barcelona. There are various trains as well, but they can be longer routes.
  • The South of Spain is more traditional and hence, famous for the traditional “Falmenco” dance.
  • Seville can be made base for some smaller traditional towns of Malaga and Marbella.
  • Enjoy the authentic Spanish cuisine and drinks.
Seville – Bull Run – San Fermin (July, every year)
The last scenes of the movie was shot in the region of Pamplona. San Fermin is a week long festival and one just has to wear something red, to be chased by the wild bulls.

Travel Tips –
  • Best accessed from Zargoza – which is about 1.5 hours from train from Barcelona.
  • Driving to Pamplona from Barcelona can be quite long, but one can experience the small Spanish towns on the way.
  • It is best to keep a night stay in the town.
