India’s new Amrit Bharat Express will connect Saharsa to Mumbai, replacing the initially planned Saharsa-Amritsar route. Set to be virtually inaugurated by PM Modi on April 24, the service will reduce travel time to 34 hours, offering faster travel with 22 coaches. The train will run once a week, and its frequency may increase with additional rakes. This initiative boosts connectivity in Bihar and beyond.
