The Delhi government will introduce digital travel cards for women, replacing pink tickets for free bus rides, to curb corruption and modernize ticketing. INR 12,952 crore has been allocated for transport improvements, including adding 5,000+ electric buses, Delhi Metro expansion (INR 2,929 crore), and urban transport projects (INR 1,000 crore). A welfare board will be set up for taxi and auto-rickshaw drivers. This marks the first Budget by a BJP-led government in Delhi in 26 years.
