The Hong Kong International Airport connects to about 190 destinations. It has separate terminals to enter the city of Hong Kong and to connect to other SARs and Pearl River Delta, via ferry. Transferring directly to other SARs - Many tourists combining Hong Kong and Macau in the same trip, tend to go to Macau directly from the Hong Kong Airport.
In such a case, if their ferry is pre-booked, they need to look for a sign board that mentions transfer to ferry terminal, instead of proceeding towards the luggage belts. The ferry services team collects the boarding pass of the passengers and transfers their luggage directly to the ferry boat. The passengers will then get their checked-in luggage at Macau ferry Terminal
