Safety hygiene measures and new digital features
At Genting Cruise Lines, the safety and health of the guests and crew are of paramount importance and as such, the company has been at the forefront in enhancing and introducing safety and preventive measures that has become the new norm for its fleet, setting a new standard for the industry. These include implementing stringent health screening processes prior and during embarkation, enhanced cleaning and disinfection protocols with higher intervals, operating at reduced capacity to enable social and safe distancing practices with crew equipped with the required PPE, safe food and beverage handling procedures; on board doctors including an Infection Control Officer (ICO) and 100% fresh air ventilation in staterooms and public areas with no recirculation of air.
Genting Cruise Lines is proud to recently announce the restart of its cruise operations for Dream Cruises, thus becoming the
world’s first cruise line to resume operation after the global cruise industry shutdown due to the pandemic. To provide peace of mind for its guests, Genting Cruise Lines had also introduced its
“Cruise As You Wish” program for selected ships that offers flexibility with cancelation up to 48 hours before sailing and receive a 100% future cruise credit, subject to terms and conditions.
