Zanzibar, Tanzania will expand its air connectivity in 2026 with new and returning international flights at Zanzibar International Airport. Airlink will launch a twice-weekly Johannesburg–Zanzibar route from June, while Etihad Airways will resume seasonal Abu Dhabi–Zanzibar services during summer. The expansion supports rising tourism demand and improved global access.
