The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) has launched a global Destination Stewardship framework to help destinations balance tourism growth with community wellbeing. Built around seven guiding principles, the initiative encourages collaborative planning, data-driven decision-making, heritage protection and sustainable visitor management. The framework aims to create long-term value for residents, businesses and travellers while strengthening resilience and improving destination experiences worldwide.
