The proposed Bareilly–Haldwani Greenfield Expressway is expected to improve road connectivity between Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, making travel to destinations like Haldwani and Nainital faster and smoother. The 100-kilometre expressway aims to reduce traffic congestion, improve driving conditions and support tourism growth. Officials believe the project could also strengthen regional trade, weekend travel and long-distance connectivity across northern India.
