Sri Lanka is strengthening its Indian tourism strategy through a 30-member familiarisation programme for travel professionals from Punjab. The delegation is exploring attractions, hotels and visitor experiences while meeting Sri Lankan tourism businesses. India remains a major source market, with 395,377 Indian tourists recorded year-to-date, representing 25 percent of international arrivals. The initiative aims to build partnerships, develop holiday packages and attract more visitors from Punjab.
