Virginia saw a 15% rise in Indian tourists in 2024, with 61,500 visitors spending $105.6 million, making India its second-largest international market after Canada. Since 2019, Indian arrivals have surged 76%, with spending up 26%. To capitalize on this growth, Virginia Tourism Corporation and Visit Fairfax are leading a trade mission in India from March 24-28. The delegation is promoting luxury, cultural, and MICE tourism, aiming to position Virginia as a top U.S. destination for Indian travelers.
