Virginia is stepping up efforts to attract Indian travellers by promoting multi-stop experiences combining beaches, mountains, history, gastronomy and soft adventure. The state welcomed 61,500 Indian visitors in 2024, up from 53,000 in 2023. Through its “Vacation Starts with V-A” campaign and partnerships with Brand USA, Virginia aims to position itself as a destination rather than a stopover.
