Vietnam is considering a new visa policy for Indian tourists, according to Le Quang Bien, Consul General of Vietnam in Mumbai. While the country currently offers e-visas but not visas on arrival, changes may be on the horizon. Speaking at the “Da Nang Tourism Roadshow” in Ahmedabad, Bien highlighted Vietnam’s strong ties with India and the rising number of Indian visitors. Over 250,000 Indians traveled to Vietnam in 2023, driven by better connectivity and growing tourism interest.
