Indian Railways has approved a Vande Bharat Sleeper service on the Mumbai–Bengaluru route, with Pune as a key stop, aiming to improve overnight connectivity between the two cities. The new service is expected to offer modern sleeping berths, enhanced safety features and upgraded onboard amenities. With current rail options limited and time-consuming, the introduction is set to provide a more comfortable and efficient alternative for long-distance travellers.
