Nakshatra Sabha, an Astro-tourism initiative by the Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board and Starscapes, brought stargazing to seven scenic locations, attracting tourists, students, scientists, and locals. Telescope viewings, sky tours, and workshops sparked interest in astronomy and sustainable rural tourism. The next phase aims to revive ghost villages as Dark Sky Villages, blending science, culture, and livelihoods.
