Located on Loktak Lake, Keibul Lamjao National Park in Manipur is the world’s only floating national park. The park sits on phumdis — thick masses of vegetation and soil that float on the lake’s surface. Wildlife experts note that it is the last natural habitat of the rare Sangai, also known as the dancing deer.
