The Philippines is embracing its culinary heritage to boost tourism, with Bacolod City set to host Terra Madre Asia & Pacific from November 19–23, 2025. Organized by Slow Food, the event will showcase sustainable gastronomy through exhibits, workshops, and cooking demonstrations. Highlighting Filipino cuisine and Negros Occidental’s organic farming legacy, the five-day celebration strengthens the Philippines’ growing reputation as a global culinary tourism destination while creating opportunities for cultural exchange and sustainable travel growth.
