Saudi Arabia’s King Fahd International Airport holds the title of the world’s largest airport by land area, covering around 776 square kilometres—larger than the entire nation of Bahrain. Located near Dammam, the airport was built with vast space for future expansion, including additional runways, cargo facilities and terminals, although only a small portion is currently used for daily operations.
