Jamaica’s 2026 summer tourism generated US$2.5 billion across five major cultural cities, with 2.34 million travellers experiencing festivals, heritage and local culture. The strong performance highlights growing appeal beyond traditional beach holidays. Kingston, Montego Bay, Ocho Rios and other cultural destinations are benefiting from interest in authentic experiences. The results strengthen Jamaica’s position as a Caribbean destination offering entertainment, culture, heritage and diverse travel experiences.
