Thailand has begun a major coastal revitalisation project at Jomtien Beach in Pattaya to strengthen its long-term tourism appeal. The programme includes beach widening and sand nourishment to improve visitor experiences, coastal resilience and public spaces. The upgrade is expected to support sustainable tourism while enhancing one of Thailand’s most popular seaside destinations for domestic and international travellers.
