Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) has unveiled a $4 billion deal to purchase 45 Embraer E195-E2 jets, marking its largest aircraft order in nearly three decades. Backed by Sweden, Norway, and Denmark, this move aims to modernize SAS’s fleet, reduce emissions, and expand routes across Europe, North America, and Asia. With delivery beginning in 2027, the airline is aligning sustainability, passenger comfort, and growth as it strengthens its role in global aviation.
