Kashmir will host its first destination tennis tournament from August 19, bringing together 40 players, including 25 from across India and 15 local athletes. The two-day event aims to promote Kashmir as a sports tourism destination while giving local talent national exposure. Many participants are travelling with families and extending their stays to nearly a week, adding a strong tourism dimension and supporting the region’s growing sports infrastructure.
