South Korea’s tourism sector has partnered with Netflix’s K-foodie Meets J-foodie to attract Japanese tourists by showcasing the country’s rich culinary heritage and travel spots. Featuring celebrities Sung Si-kyung and Yutaka Matsushige, the show explores food culture across Korea and Japan. The Korea Tourism Organization will also collaborate with travel agencies to offer themed packages, using show clips to further promote Korean tourism in Japan.
