SkyHop Aviation has signed an MoU with Noemi Aerospace to evaluate electric and hybrid seaplane operations in India and South Asia. The companies will assess technical, operational, commercial and regulatory feasibility, including potential manufacturing and assembly in India. SkyHop, India’s first dedicated seaplane operator, is targeting a fleet of up to 40 aircraft by FY2030 and plans to evaluate up to 10 Noemi aircraft, with an option for five additional aircraft as future expansion.
