Construction is now underway on Scarborough Centre Station—the first of three stops in the TTC’s Line 2 extension. This 7.8 km project, stretching from Kennedy Station to McCowan Road and Sheppard Avenue, will serve around 105,000 daily trips and place 38,000 more people within walking distance of a subway. With a major new bus terminal and transit connections planned, the extension aims to boost accessibility, cut congestion, and drive economic growth in the Greater Toronto Area.
