Saudi Arabia plans to localise 41 tourism sector professions in private establishments, with the first phase starting on April 22, 2026. This initiative, part of the government’s Saudisation drive, aims to create more job opportunities for Saudi citizens. Professions targeted include hotel management, tourism development, and travel agency roles. The process will unfold in three phases, with the final phase set for January 2028.
