Rudranath Temple in Uttarakhand’s Garhwal Himalayas will reopen for pilgrims on May 18 after remaining closed during winter. Located at nearly 3,600 metres, the sacred shrine is part of the Panch Kedar pilgrimage circuit dedicated to Lord Shiva. Pilgrims and trekkers travel through scenic Himalayan trails, forests and alpine meadows to reach the temple, making the journey both spiritual and adventurous.
