Punjab has introduced permanent boating services at Sri Chamkaur Sahib, enhancing water tourism with thrilling rides, scenic views, and top-tier safety measures. The facility, opposite Dastan-e-Shahadat, features motorboats, a jet ski, and a rescue boat along a 500-metre canal stretch. Inaugurated by MLA Dr. Charanjit Singh and DC Himanshu Jain, the initiative aims to establish Sri Chamkaur Sahib as a leading water tourism destination, blending adventure and cultural heritage.
