Poland’s high-speed rail plans took a major step forward with the first approved location for the Warsaw–Łódź HSR line near Warszawa West. This section will link Warsaw, the upcoming CPK Airport, and Łódź, with the full 140 km design nearly complete. CPK has secured key permits and acquired most required land, keeping the 2032 opening on track. The new line will cut Warsaw–Łódź travel to 40 minutes and boost nationwide connectivity through future extensions.
