The Philippines has secured €200 million in financing from Germany’s KfW Development Bank to strengthen marine conservation. The program will support coastal ecosystem management, sustainable tourism and fisheries, benefiting over three million people. The initiative aims to enhance climate resilience and protect key tourism destinations from environmental and ecological challenges.
