Philadelphia will host the 2026 Wawa Welcome America Festival to mark the United States’ 250th anniversary. Running from June 19 to July 4, the 16-day celebration will feature historic parades, cultural events, concerts, and six nights of fireworks. Organisers say the festival positions Philadelphia as the centrepiece of America’s Semiquincentennial celebrations, attracting domestic and international visitors while boosting summer tourism across the city.
