In response to declining tourism and business disruptions from ongoing roadworks, Pagosa Springs’ lodging sector has formed the Pagosa Lodgers Association. Officially registered in May 2025, the group aims to influence how $1.4M in Lodgers Tax funds are allocated. With only 13 members so far, the association seeks transparency and data-driven tourism strategies, while broader community concerns about housing and infrastructure remain largely unaddressed in current Tourism Board discussions.
