Odisha is transforming the Hirakud region into a sustainable tourism hub featuring floatels, eco resorts, cruise facilities, ropeways, adventure zones, and projects. The masterplan focuses on Debrigarh Wildlife Sanctuary and Hirakud reservoir while promoting eco friendly infrastructure and cultural tourism. Multiple tourism zones and waterfront attractions are expected to strengthen western Odisha’s position as a fast-growing travel destination in India.
