New Zealand will open a Visa Application Centre (VAC) in Nuku’alofa, Tonga, on September 14, 2026, operated by VFS Global for Immigration New Zealand. The centre will accept paper applications, online appointments and all Recognised Seasonal Employer (RSE) visa applications. Fees are TOP 86, or TOP 43 for RSE applications, plus applicable visa fees. Passport scanning will also be available for an additional charge, improving visa access across the Pacific.
