New Zealand is changing its Parent Resident Visa selection process, moving from a random ballot toward chronological selection. From November 10, 90% of Expressions of Interest will be selected according to submission date, while the remaining 10% will continue through the ballot system. The changes also remove the two-year EOI expiry, potentially reducing repeat submission costs. Standard sponsorship, health, character and relationship requirements remain unchanged.
