Munich Airport has unveiled a cutting-edge electric bus depot, reinforcing its “Net Zero 2035” vision. The facility currently powers 37 zero-emission buses, with plans to expand to 72 vehicles and add solar-equipped charging carports. Backed by €23.8 million in federal and EU funding, the project will save over 4,000 tons of CO₂ annually. This milestone marks a bold step toward cleaner aviation ground operations and sustainable airport mobility.
