Mumbai’s Versova-Andheri-Ghatkopar Metro Line 1 has completed 11 years, transporting over 111 crore commuters since June 8, 2014. Ghatkopar saw the highest footfall at 30 crore, followed by Andheri and Saki Naka. With 12.6 lakh train trips and 1.45 crore km covered, Metro One boasts 99.99% punctuality. The 11.8-km corridor remains a vital east-west link with a daily ridership of around 5 lakh.
