Adani Airports has postponed the planned shift of international flights from Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport to Navi Mumbai International Airport until March 2027. The move follows objections from airlines over operational challenges during the peak festive and winter travel season. The transition, initially planned for October 2026, will support Mumbai airport’s Terminal 1 redevelopment. A joint working group will prepare a phased implementation plan in consultation with airlines.
