Bagdogra Airport has unveiled the design of its new terminal, inspired by the Himalayan foothills and Bengal’s cultural heritage. Expected to be completed by March 2027, the expanded facility will handle up to 1,000 passengers per hour and improve access to destinations like Darjeeling, Gangtok, and Kalimpong. The project also features sustainable and flood-resilient infrastructure to support future tourism growth.
