The Maldives has become the most-booked international destination for UAE residents this summer, accounting for one in five overseas hotel reservations, according to dnata Travel. Thailand, Mauritius, Canada and Australia also recorded strong demand as travellers opted for luxury and experience-led holidays. The report also highlighted rising bookings for four and five-star hotels, with average booking values increasing 16% year-on-year.
