The Government of Maldives is all set to welcome 2025 with an impressive target of 3,00,000 Indian tourists for 2025. This unique initiative is a result of Indian tourist arrivals falling from top to sixth place in 2024 after a rift between the two nations. Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) chairman Abdulla Ghiyas has said “We are conducting it as a very big campaign. For the first time, we are targeting to hire a brand ambassador to advertise in the Indian mass media.
