Malaysia is proposing a new 23-hour hotel stay model as part of its strategy to strengthen tourism ahead of the Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign. The plan suggests a 2:00 PM check-in and 1:00 PM check-out to offer travellers more usable time during their stay. The initiative aims to enhance visitor experience and improve Malaysia’s competitiveness in the global tourism market.
