The Lufthansa Group is experiencing fewer geopolitical challenges in its India operations compared to its routes in the Gulf. In response, the airline plans to boost flight frequencies and deploy larger aircraft, such as the A380 on the Mumbai-Munich route. Additionally, a new route connecting Zurich and Bangalore will launch in October. Sustainable Aviation Fuel is a key component of Lufthansa’s long-term decarbonisation efforts.
