Uttar Pradesh has allocated ₹9 crore to rejuvenate key temples and riverfronts in Lucknow. The initiative includes ten projects such as the restoration of Sheetla Mata, Koneshwar Mahadev, and Shiv temples, as well as Gomti’s Sanjhiya Ghat. Visitor amenities like lighting, restrooms, and information centers will also be upgraded. Aimed at promoting spiritual tourism and preserving heritage, this move is set to attract both domestic pilgrims and international travelers alike.
