XiamenAir has launched the first nonstop passenger service between Xiamen and London Heathrow, creating a direct connection between China’s Fujian Province and the United Kingdom. The service began September 6 with three weekly Boeing 787 flights. The new route removes the need for connections through major hubs, making journeys more convenient while strengthening tourism, business and international travel links between southeastern China and Britain.
