Metro Railway Kolkata is set to launch full airport connectivity next week, marking a major leap in urban transit. The 6.77 km Yellow Line stretch between Noapara and Jai Hind Bimanbandar will include four stations, three of them newly built. This extension links Kolkata Airport directly to the metro network, cutting travel time, easing congestion, and offering modern facilities. With a ₹1,866 crore investment, the project enhances convenience, safety, and sustainable mobility.
