Indian Railways has added an extra sleeper coach to the Kolkata–Jammu Tawi Express to manage increased passenger demand during the Navratri season. The move is expected to provide around 72–80 additional berths daily, improving ticket availability and easing waitlists. It also enhances comfort by reducing crowding, ensuring a smoother journey for pilgrims traveling to northern destinations.
