Southern Railway is introducing special train services between Tambaram and Velankanni from August 29 to September 8 for the Mary’s Nativity Festival. The additional services are designed to handle increased passenger demand and improve connectivity during the celebrations. The move gives travellers more rail options for reaching Velankanni and surrounding destinations while helping manage the seasonal surge in passenger traffic.
