Kerala is launching its first adventure tourism academy and park in Sasthampara, 14 km from Thiruvananthapuram, to boost local tourism. The 4.85-hectare project, delayed for six years, aims to invest ₹10 crore over 20 years. It will feature a training center for local youth to join the adventure tourism sector, reducing reliance on external workers, and enhancing the region’s tourism offerings.
