After nearly three decades of delays, Kerala has approved the long-pending Sabari Rail project, paving the way for a new railway corridor between Angamaly and Erumeli. The 111-kilometre route is expected to improve access to the renowned Sabarimala pilgrimage centre while enhancing connectivity across central Kerala.
