Karnataka is rolling out high-tech public sanitation facilities across key tourist destinations to improve hygiene and visitor experience. The initiative follows successful implementation in Hampi, with plans to expand to regions including Kodagu, Chikkamagalur and heritage circuits like Badami and Pattadakal. Developed through public-private partnerships and CSR funding, the facilities focus on better maintenance, sustainability and smart features such as automated systems and real-time monitoring.
